Beware of fraudulent websites and people using Policy Master's name
How can you identify fraud?
Policy Master is an IRDA approved Insurance Brokers. We take the safety and security of customer information very seriously.
Some fraudsters may start misusing Policy Master's name to mislead you. The content of the fraudulent messages/calls/websites by these individuals or agencies may include references to - cash backs, discounts, payment via UPI handles or using the name of insurance companies along with Policy Master. These messages may be designed to closely resemble or copy/incorporate Policy Master’s official trademarks including logos, identity and brand colours.
Here are some ways in which the fraudsters may get in touch with you:
Fake websites
These websites may look like our website and may have a very similar URL to ours. Double-check the website URL to make sure that you are buying from www.policymaster.com

WhatsApp, Facebook, Messenger or other social messaging platforms
Fraudsters may try to send you messages over these familiar messaging platforms claiming to be from Policy Master.

UPI Handles
Fraudsters claiming to be from Policy Master may send you their UPI handles to ask for payment. The UPI handle may have the name of our brand in it. Policy Master DOES NOT ask you for payments via UPI handles.

Fake Calls or SMS to customers
Sometimes, customers may receive calls or SMS from unknown numbers. They may ask you to reveal secret and sensitive personal financial information or access credentials such as your bank account numbers, electronic wallet details, credit/debit card information, CVV, PIN or OTP.
DO NOT share any such sensitive information with anyone.

Fake Emails
Fraudsters may send you fake emails to obtain sensitive information such as usernames, passwords, and credit card details or send you fake emails pretending to sell you products on behalf of Policy Master.
Please note that all the emails you receive from Policy Master have the format 'xyz@policymaster.com'.
DO NOT respond to emails from any other email ID. Fake email ID's may look something like 'xyz@policy.policymaster.com' or 'xyz@policymaaster.com'.
